Article (pp.228–232) on meteorological sounding rockets, published in this issue of L’Aérophile, self-billed on its cover as “la revue d’aéronautique la plus ancienne du monde.”

Credited at its close to Ley, already a year into his American exile and identified here as an honorary member of the American Rocket Society, and to Herbert Schaefer, described as a former engineer at the Raketenflugplatz Berlin, the VfR’s Reinickendorf test field that Ley himself had helped run before 1933. This ex-library copy carries a Royal Aero Club stamp restricting it to the reading room.
