The second, revised edition of Gilzin’s 1950 Rocket Engines, retitled and expanded from five chapters to six, in a printing of 50,000. The new chapter covers new propellants, engine improvements and staged rockets, and the final chapter on the future treats ultra-long-range flight, interplanetary travel and atomic rocketry. Tsiolkovsky’s portrait again serves as frontispiece. The first edition is also in this catalog.
